Muse Lip-Sync

“Muse performed their new single “Uprising” on an Italian TV show recently and were told they had to lip sync the performance, so the band gave them what they wanted. Lead singer and guitarist Matthew Bellamy decided to fake the drums while the real drummer Dominic Howard took on vocal duties. Bassist Christopher Wolstenholme “played” the guitar and Keyboards”.

Will You Accept This Rose?

Finally, my least favorite bachelor on The Bachelorette, Kirk DeWindt, has been “eliminated”!

I don’t know what it is about him, but everything that comes out of his mouth sounds so disingenuous to me. I didn’t see him and Ali being together at the end, and I am glad that it is now down to Chris, Frank, and Roberto.

If You Really Knew Me

If You Really Knew Me is a new reality TV series on MTV that premieres on July 20th, 2010. If you haven’t seen the previews for it yet, here is what the show is all about:

“Each episode features a different high school from across the country, following five students from different cliques for a 24-hour period as they reveal who they really are to their peers. Billed as a reality version of THE BREAKFAST CLUB, this series documents students as they go through a Challenge Day that breaks down their walls and completely changes the way they view their school and each other.”

I really like the concept of this show. It’s reminiscent of Oprah’s “Challenge Day” she held a few years ago, but it is on MTV so I’m sure it’ll be a lot more dramatic. Anyways, I encourage you all to watch this show when it airs, I think we could all learn something.

Glee: The Movie

Supposedly Lea Michele [Rachel], Cory Monteith [Finn], Dianna Argon [Quinn], and Mark Salling [Puck], along with other regular actors, signed on for up to three films based on the hit TV show when they signed their contracts.

Here is the wording from the contract:
“[The actor] hereby grants Fox three exclusive, irrevocable options to engage [the actor] in up to, respectively, three feature-length motion pictures.”

I really hope they decide not to do movies. I definitely think it would ruin the appeal of the show.

I can’t even describe how much I love Glee.
Love, love, love, love.

The season finale was faaaaabulous, jsyk.
I don’t think I can hold out until Season 2, but good thing FOX is playing Season 1 over again on Thursdays this summer.

Rue McClanahan Passes Away at Age 76.

“The Golden Girls”  actress Rue McClanahan has passed away at age 76 due to a massive stroke.

It may just be me looking way to into this, but:

Estelle Getty passed away in 2008.
Bea Arthur passed away in 2009.
Rue McClanahan passed away in 2010.

Now there is only one Golden Girl left, Betty White!
Please just be a coincidence that they pass away in a yearly manner?

R.I.P. Rue.

It’s over.
I won’t spoil anything, but I’ll say this: I’m not sure how I feel about the finale quite yet.
I think I’m going to have to read around and get a full explanation on it.

Anyways, fantastic show, and potentially a fantastic finale.

S4

Alright. On March 23rd I started watching Lost, determined to finish by the time the series finale rolled around.
I just finished the second episode of the fourth season, therefore I have 45 episodes until the best show ever created is over.

I know I have nearly 3 more seasons to watch, but this show= phenomenal. I gave my friends a hard time for years before I started watching it, and now I regret it. It’s fabulous. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve cheered, I’ve jeered. It’s definitely everything I expected, and I still have a while to go! I don’t think my mind can be blown anymore than it already is, but I have a feeling that the first 3 seasons were just the start.

I am so excited for this episode!
I can’t wait to see the fashion!

Hulu, You’re Killing Me

Hulu, a video-streaming website that allows you to access to all your favorite TV shows, is expected to introduce a subscription service as early as May 24th.
The cost? It depends on what episodes you’re watching.
If you are watching the past 5 or 6 episodes, you won’t be paying. But if you are like me, and only on the 3rd season of Lost, you will be paying about $10 to access these past episodes.

I don’t know, but it seems a bit ridiculous. Hulu, you are bringing in $100 million–work with me.
I guess I’m just going to have to finish Lost before May 24th!
