Monsters, Inc. 2 is set to release on November 16th, 2012.

I’m excited! Monsters, Inc. is fabulous.

Beastly

Trailer for Beastly, due out July 30th.

If you don’t know, the movie is based on the novel entitled Beastly by Alex Flinn, which is a re-telling of Beauty and The Beast.
I’ve heard good things about it, so I’ll probably pick it up fairly soon so I can read it before the movie comes out.

Anyways, I am already liking this movie.
I have faith that Vanessa Hudgens can prove me wrong with her acting in this [as opposed to the HSM series].
Neil Patrick Harris= love.
Mary-Kate Olsen is doing movies again!
Alex Pettyfer–adorable!

We’ll see!

Here’s To The Future

Yes, it’s time for one of those entries again.
This past week has had a reoccurring theme: the future. We’re learning the future tense in Italian, taking about how our decisions affect the future in Morality, and I’ve been doing a lot of personal thinking about the future.

I am in the process of applying for my second internship in the past three days, and I’m really excited. Scared? Yes. Unsure? Probably. Excited? You betcha.
For the longest time I’ve had no idea what I wanted to do with my life.  To quote a text I sent my cousin on April 7th:
“I always sit in my communication class and think about what to do with my life, and it just causes confusion.  I want to manage bands. I want to own a record label. I want to be an ordained minister. I want to be a mom. I want to do hair. I want to plan weddings. I want to bake/decorate cakes. I want to design shit. I want to analyze people and help them. I want to help kids. I also want to act. I want to direct TV shows. And write. And interview. And own a cupcake place. And save the world. And do casting for movies. And public relations. And have a radio show. And be a stylist.”
Re-typing that made me think more–are we truly destined to do something specific in life?
I am interested in so many activities/careers that I don’t think I could possibly narrow it down to something super specific, let alone say that I was “destined” to do it.

I enjoy life. I enjoy learning. I want to gain as much knowledge as I can about as much as I can while I have the time.  I’m currently a communication major with minors in psychology and writing. Is this where I should be? For now, I think it is. My current career goal is to be involved in mass media, etc… Maybe that calls for changing my minors around a bit, maybe it means I need to start interning, and maybe it means that I’ve finally found a place where I belong.

In five years, life will [probably] look like this:
I will be 24, turning 25 in 10 days.
I will be graduated from PSU.
I will be living in either Portland, Seattle, New York City, or Los Angeles.
I will be working my butt off making my dreams come true.
I will be having fun.

Who says this will happen? I’m relying on hope and faith [and 17 years of education] to get me to where I want to be in life. I can’t predict the future, nobody can. But I can make choices and decisions in the present that will affect the future, and I know one thing for sure…

In five years, I will be happy.

Robert Pattinson To Play Kurt Cobain

Rumors are circulating that Robert Pattinson is set to play Kurt Cobain in an upcoming biopic.
I don’t know how true this is, but how does everyone feel about it?

If I could pick anyone for the role, I’d have to go with Jared Leto.
